These leather earrings measure approx 1 3/4" wide, 2 3/4" drop with hook.

These earrings feature raw brass accents. Please note raw brass will naturally oxidize over time, creating a beautiful vintage like patina on your earrings.

Each pair of earrings come on an earring card with clear silicone backers. All orders come beautifully packaged in re-usable cotton muslin bags, perfect for gifting! If you choose to apply minimal packaging to your order, we'd be happy to send your jewelry without a cotton bag.

Our genuine leather earrings are hand cut therefore each piece is unique. We also pay close attention to the natural variations, wrinkles and creases of the leather which adds to the popular slightly distressed look. Pairs are very closely matched, but some variations are to be expected and your earrings may not be identical to the earrings pictured.

Please note that our leather earrings have a natural back, and on some of our very distressed leathers it can be a bit fuzzy. The backs of others may have marks from when the leather was originally cut.

We love essential oils! If you wish to use them on your earrings we recommend only using them on our heavier darker leather. The natural suede backing is perfect to roll on, but oils can potentially discolour thinner leather and lighter colours. The oils absorb quickly and can’t be removed so please use carefully!

To keep your earrings in the best condition we recommend storing them hanging, or in their dust bag laying flat.

Most earrings can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth, but be careful because water can discolour some lighter leathers!

If an earring gets bent, it can be flattened with a barely warm iron. Cover the earring with a cloth or towel first and avoid the hooks.

Oh no!! I always make my earrings in pairs so they can be as closely matching as possible, but if I still have the leather available, I can make just one up for you to replace the one you lost! There might be a slight difference in texture or grain direction to the other one! Please send me a message to discuss this so we can get you wearing your earrings again ASAP!

To us, creating earrings sustainably means searching for sources of “pre-consumer” leather scrap. This can include leather that was discarded before it was ready for use (defective dyeing or finishing), leather that was discarded before it reached consumers (samples, swatches or overstock) or leather scraps that were produced while larger items were being made (pieces leftover after cutting out a pattern). Using this clean scrap capitalizes on the massive amounts of leather already produced and diverts leather that would otherwise be destined for the landfill.

While I do purchase small pieces of “new” leather to accent my collections, I look for scrap packs whenever possible and use almost every square inch (hello, leather studs!)
